If I could give no stars I would
If I could give no stars I would. I have used instacart for over two years and I have been very understanding that things get mixed up or forgotten, the shoppers are just human. I’ve even been understanding when my orders are way outside the delivery window or have been poorly bagged. However, I just cancelled my membership and I will never use their services again because twice my orders have not been delivered and they refuse to refund my money and want me to use it as a credit. How am I to get anything delivered when your shoppers keep not delivering? I just spent an hour on the phone and customer service shrugged the whole situation off. Absolutely ridiculous!

This company is a big scam
This company is a big scam. If you sign up, they will bombard you with emails (several throughout the day), and the "unsubscribe" link does not work. I had to mark their emails as spam so they could be delivered to my junk folder.

They won't let me delete my account
They won't let me delete my account. They have my info, and I just don't trust these people anymore. They have set it up in a way that just cranks up the bill. I can't afford to pay for things I didn't ask for and don't want, and not get what I do want and pay several times more for unwanted items. They also will leave stuff at the wrong address.

I recently bought some gluten-free ice…
I recently bought some gluten-free ice cream through Instacart that was on sale at Publix. I purchased 6 containers and a few other items to complete the order, but my main interest was the ice cream. I paid for shipping to obtein that item alone. The shopper never contacted me, and when the delivery arrived, the ice cream was missing. The app automatically informed me that the product was out of stock at my neighborhood Publix, even though the same app indicated that there was plenty available. Which of the apps should I believe? Result: I paid for shipping, tips, and other fees for a product I didn't receive, and immediately had to spend gas and go to the specific Publix to buy the ice cream, which, of course, was in stock and mocking me. I understand that the shoppers are not paid well, and therefore they don't do their job properly, but when you try to get your money back, they simply tell you that they can't resolve the problem and that you'll have not to deal with the same shopper again. Is that a solution? I won't be using it anymore. It is a scam web.

Homeless make more money picking up cans in Santa Rosa, CA
Literally, I have made $6.47 in (4) whole 8-hour+ days working for Instacart. Today is 6/28 and I became a platinum cart member (notice a pyramid forming??) 3 days ago. Today is my 4th consecutive day of making almost nothing. The homeless in my neighborhood have easily made 30-50x what I have in the past (4) days picking up cans. Instacart is great for shoppers but bad for the people doing the shopping!! I am sick of hearing Karen-like reviews here from shoppers whining about replacements. We are SERVING you Karen. Be nice. Instacart team, you betrayed the drivers, your entire work force by over hiring during COVID and also allowing diamond shoppers to use batch grabbers and multiple accounts. I can’t wait until a class-action lawsuit ensues and I will be there to collect on your unscrupulous business practices.

Later and later for delivery
I ordered early they kept pushing the time later and later and fruit was in the same bag as the meat the driver was grumpy i was hoping this would work as im a senior

ZERO STARS
If I could give 0 stars it would still be too many. Absolute worst customer service and complete lack of security on their platform. My credit card company informed me of suspicious activity linked to my IC account, however when I reached out to IC they claimed they did not have visibility to any questionable activity. After numerous attempts to reach the fraud team I'm still left wondering how my account was compromised and whether or not the platform itself is a secure one to use. Going forward, I will be listening to the advice of so many others and trying another company.

Horrible experience after I subscribed…
Horrible experience after I subscribed and they have zero accountability. I suggest everyone to check very carefully what they actually receive. I have had success only by bringing up my complaints with the Better Business Bureau. I also solicited a through investigation of Instacart's business practices. For instance, by not providing the actual receipts, Instacart is able to charge its clients for different brands, or different items than those received. When it happened to me, it was always me receiving less expensive items than I was charged (I am not talking about the price difference on IC vs in store). While it is usually a honest mistake by the shoppers, the company consistently refuses to take any responsibility, even in front of proof.

No, they don't by policy. But I've found they don't deliver anything else either. Last two orders were cancelled. I dumped my account and told them to keep the gift card balance. Done with InstaCart.

Yes, I think they are scam artist. No integrity, in our business if we don't delivery the full order, we don't charge the customer for it. Basically they are stealing from people.

Well, this is almost two weeks old so you probably don't need an answer. I just used them once a couple of days ago and after much searching, it appears there is no way to contact them. They made a $50 error on my order and I am going to have to eat the cost. I sent a reply when they emailed me to rate my driver. They credited me $17 on my next order for the items I paid for and didn't get but I will never do business with them again. They didn't give me a refund! They charged me the amount in my cart, not the amount actually spent in the store! Thankfully I have the receipt. I'm calling my bank to dispute the charges.

You can't! The only way I got a response from them was when they emailed me to rate my driver and I gave a bad review for her and Instacart. I got an email back. Otherwise, there is no Customer Service! I tried everything under the "Help" section and got nowhere!

I don't think you can. The first call I made to them, I stayed on hold for over 2 hours before they answered. This time I stayed on hold over 4 hours, and then they just disconnected the call. I called back and held for almost 3 hours, then gave up, and I have opted for posting my review - online.
